Micah 1 Year Birthday Cake Smash | Southern Oregon Child Photography

What can I say? I’m IN LOVE!!! I have three beautiful nieces whom I adore, but the bright blues eyes on my youngest niece, Micah, just melt my heart.

This is one of the happiest little girls you’ll ever meet and I absolutely had a blast photographing her big 1-year-old cake smash. I repurposed a tutu I made my daughter a few years ago to fit her petite body, found some awesome, girly necklaces at Claire’s and then cut up strips of cute fabric for the banner backdrop. My talented friend, Kim, makes my cakes and made this adorable pink ruffled cake for Micah to smash. My sister-in-law brought the cute headband and it all worked perfect together.

This is by far my most favorite session to date. It’s simple, yet beautiful. I may be slightly partial to the gorgeous subject I was photographing as well.
