Sunset Tween Photo Session | Southern Oregon Photographer

I love photographing older kids, especially that tween stage because 1. they take direction and can stand still for more than 5 seconds, and 2. in a time when they can feel awkward and unsure of themselves, I love being able to show how beautiful they are.

Meet the beautiful Michaela Jeanne. She has blue eyes that often look green, depending on her mood and what she’s wearing. She likes to draw, write stories, and she has the best imagination I’ve ever seen. She’s my baby sister.

This is the 3rd year in a row that I’ve photographed Michaela as she heads into a new school year. This year was especially momentous as she started junior high as a 7th grader.
